BURNCO is currently hiring aBatch Plant Supervisor for ourportable project in Northern Saskatchewan. This 6 month project is a great opportunity for an individual interested in a camp position working on rotation. What You Will Be Doing
- Day to day interaction of other plant employees report absences and other personnel issues to Production Manager.
- Complete required paperwork and reports as needed.
- Ensure strict compliance with health and safety environmental employment management and other company policies.
- Verify each load for volume mix added products and all other quality information.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
- Receive and inspect raw materials.
- Keep required records and logs.
- Perform routine maintenance and oversee the cleaning of the concrete plant.
- Monitor inventories in the plant (cement fly ash admixtures and aggregates).
- Adjusts batching weights and quantities as necessary to maintain specifications.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We Need from You
- Safe Driver Record.
- Concrete Mixer Truck driving experience an asset.
- An understanding of concrete products an asset.
- Must be mechanically inclined.
- Must have good mathematical skills
- Experience in the operation of a batch plant preferred
- Intermediate computer experience
- Ability to successfully pass our preemployment testing.
IMPORTANT:As a safety sensitive position it is a condition of employment that selected candidate successfully pass comprehensive preemployment testing that includes a Drug and Alcohol screen and Fitness to Work testing. Please note that we have a zerotolerance policy for any Cannabis derived products regardless of use frequency or purpose.
