Front of House Server (Boutique Hotel) Compensation: $11.40/hr tips
Reports to: Senior Bar Lead F&B Director

Position Summary:
Reports to Senior Bar Lead and is responsible for taking orders from making cocktails and serving food & beverages to customers for payments being collected and ensuring the overall guest experiences are fantastic.

The Front of House Server helps to create a positive culinary experience for our guests at the hotel cafe and bar for locals and overnight guests. The Front of House Server exudes an optimistic energized positive lifestyle and has a knack for helping others feel great about themselves.
A Day in the Life Of:
- Takes food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a friendly attitude.
- Has knowledge of the food and beverage menus and has the ability to make suggestions.
- Ensures guests are enjoying their meals and takes action to correct problems.
- Collects payment at the pointofsale station.
- Helps prepare food and drink when necessary. Make cocktails and nonalcoholic drinks.
- Maintains a professional attitude of teamwork cooperation communication and accountability.
- Maintains meticulous attention to detail throughout the work shift.
- Commitment to performing daily duties e.g. opening closing and side work.
- Has basic cleanliness skills to clean up spills broken glassware etc. immediately.
- Willingness to report any issues to management that cannot be addressed immediately.
- Stays highly organized professional and has good communication skills.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Must Haves:
Positive and friendly attitude and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to perform highquality work while unsupervised.
- Able to handle money accurately and operate a pointofsale system.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner.
- Flexible schedule (evenings weekends and holidays included).
- Committed to outrageous hospitality and guest service.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and remain standing for an extended period of time.
Experience and Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED preferred.
