Position description
Department: Maintenance
Reports To: Maintenance lead/Senior technicians
FLSA Status: Hourly
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Jr. Maintenance personnel
SUMMARY
The daily operation of all assigned equipment to support the operation which concerns the maintenance of mechanical equipment and machinery used in the production and support operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Establish a sound working relationship with all Production Sanitation and USDA staff.
Participate and promote employees safety and Food safety policies and practices
The direct operation and repair of all assigned areas and shift for the operation repair and preventive maintenance functions.
The identification of needed parts supplies necessary to support his assigned area and shift.
Maintain sound procedures to complete all Work Orders within a timely period.
Maintain the daily weekly and monthly record systems to support the Preventive Maintenance and Work Order system.
Under minimum supervision installs maintains repairs and/or rebuilds complicated machines and plant equipment.
Disassembles problem equipment and determines extent of repairs necessary. Repairs refits and/or replaces worn or defective parts.
QUALIFICATIONS
Proficient on industrial machinery repairs and/or probed specialty
Proficient on Hydraulic pneumatic and electrical systems including the use of multimeter
Knowledge at the following trade skills; Welding (Stick and Meg) in mild steel and stainless steel. The use of metal cutting tools (Plasma Arc and Gas).
Electrical skills motor and VFD controller test repair change and/or install.
Electrical troubleshooting PLC controllers and components e.g. valves and sensors.
Requirements
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Two 2 years of working experience in the Maintenance field (preferred Food Industry).
Associated degree or technical diploma with an accredited school preferred on electrical or mechanical e.g. Electrician auto mechanic or refrigeration

Qualifications: 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on recruitment and talent acquisition. Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required. (Master s degree strongly preferred. Proven experience in strategic sourcing, talent acquisition leadership, and HR operations. Strong understanding of time-to-fill metrics, workforce planning, and talent pipeline development. Excellent communication (public speaking & written), leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Bilingual (English & Spanish) strongly preferred. Proficiency in HRIS systems and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
Education
Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required. (Master s degree strongly preferred.
