Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detailoriented Auto Glass Installation Technician to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for safely removing installing repairing and replacing windshields and other vehicle glass components on a variety of vehicles. You will work directly with customers providing highquality service while ensuring vehicles are restored to safe driving condition.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Remove damaged glass without causing damage to vehicle surfaces or interiors.

  • Install new glass following the manufacturers specifications and safety standards.

  • Apply primers adhesives and sealants properly to ensure watertight installations.

  • Inspect the glass and materials for quality and accuracy before installation.

  • Provide excellent customer service explaining the work completed and advising on aftercare.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment including safe handling and disposal of materials.

  • Operate tools and equipment safely and correctly including suction cups glass cutters and adhesive applicators.

  • Keep detailed records of services provided materials used and customer information.

  • Stay updated on industry best practices new materials and safety protocols.



Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; trade school training is a plus.

  • Previous experience in auto glass installation or a related field preferred.

  • Valid driver s license with a clean driving record.

  • Ability to lift carry and handle large glass pieces safely (up to 50 lbs or more).

  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

  • Excellent problemsolving and customer service skills.

  • Willingness to work outdoors and in various weather conditions.

  • Ability to pass background and drug screening as required.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification from the Auto Glass Safety Council (AGSC) or willingness to obtain it.

  • Experience with advanced driverassistance systems (ADAS) recalibration is a plus.


Work Environment:

  • Field service and/or inshop environment.

  • Use of protective equipment such as gloves goggles and safety footwear.

  • May involve standing bending and climbing for extended periods.
