Job Description
Summerset at Wigram are looking for an exceptional Caregiver to join the team on a permanent part time basis.
The shifts you would be working are Monday & Tuesday 1500 to 2300 and Sunday 1500 to 2300 with the opportunity to pick up more and cover absences.
This is a busy and diverse role assisting residents with their daytoday activities such as showering delivering meals and much more. Therefore you will need to be resilient kind and patient while a good level of fitness will prove useful for delivering the best in personal care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing personal care to residents under the guidance and direction of the Registered Nurse
- Working as part of a team to support creating an enjoyable and safe home for residents
This is a developmental role that will grow your ability as a Caregiver and provide you with the skills and knowledge to create a career in healthcare.

Qualifications :
To be a successful candidate you will:
- have experience in aged care and or have a qualification relevant to the role.
- have genuine compassion for all kinds of people from all walks of life.
- be a team player and be able to manage your time well in order to complete all your tasks.
- be available to work on a rostered and rotating shift pattern (including mornings afternoon and weekends).
