Key Duties / Responsibilities
- Operate various production equipment monitoring overall performance efficiency and quality.
- Perform equipment startup shutdown and preventive maintenance.
- Sample and monitor product quality coming off the system making modifications as needed.
- Troubleshoot packaging system performance and quality problems correcting them and stabilizing performance as they occur.
- Replenish materials ongoing as materials are depleted.
- Supports the manufacture of personal products through a continuous production operation requiring an understanding of work methods and procedures as well as various binding machines.
- Work is typically routine although some discretion may be allowed. Applies limited knowledge and expertise applicable to specialty for the implementation of predominantly shortterm tasks and projects for business needs.
- Other duties as assigned. This job description describes one skill (or part of a skill) within a multiskilled production team member job.
Decision Making: Mechanical troubleshooting production/priority decisions relating to maintenance and quality
Qualifications :
Experience / Skills / Abilities Required:
Minimum 0 3 years previous machine operating or production experience in a team environment preferred.
Average to above average mechanical ability helpful.
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions: Manufacturing Environment walking standing bending twisting grasping reaching above and below shoulder lifting up to 35 pounds on a regular basis and up to 70 pounds on occasion. Must wear hearing protection on the production floor.
Additional Information :
Hourly Pay Rate:$17.00 $18.00 DOE plus $1.75 hourly shift differential
Hours: 11:00PM 7:30AM Sunday Thursday
The ultimate compensation offered for the position will depend upon several factors such as skill level cost of living experience and responsibilities.
