Staff Software Engineer Salesforce

As part of the global Operations & Technology organization the Data & Analytics group (D&A) is focused on the data strategies for the future covering the entire analytics life cycle data engineering data architecture data platforms data analysis data viz and data science. We support NBCUs vast portfolio of brands from broadcast cable news and sports networks to film studios worldrenowned theme parks and a diverse suite of digital properties. We take pride in providing NBCUniversal with data to advise and shape strategic business decisions. As a Staff Software Engineer on this team you will be responsible for designing and delivering complex cloudbased solutions using technologies such as and AWS.

• Responsible for engineering designing implementing and testing Salesforce solutions including writing specifications design/layout coding agile team principles and leadership
• Elegantly bring designs to life using standardscompliant dynamic HTML CSS and our internal Javascript MVC framework (Lightning similar to Angular React etc.
• Champion best practices and guide and influence team on leveraging such practices.
• Leading a team of10CRM Engineers both onsite and offshore
• Ensuring that the system accurately meets the defined expectations of the business ensuring that proper testing is implemented and performance and security requirements are closely monitored by working with the project teams.
• Partnership with Architects Product Management and Technical Product Management in understanding business needs technical objectives and design considerations
• Communicate status risks to schedules and offer mitigation strategies to ensure ontime delivery of all committed projects across the delivery teams
• Partnership with Architect SFDC Architect and Engineering Peers to implement SFDC within a larger unified ecosystem vision

Qualifications :

• 8 years proven track record with endtoend implementations with the SFDC platform (especially Sales Cloud)
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or equivalent years of experience
• Ability to contribute within design sessions and communicate design options to technical and nontechnical audiences
• Experience with development technologies such as Apex/VF Lightning Web Components Aura framework JavaScript jQuery/Angular/React.
• Integration experience using API technologies (Soap Rest) and Integration/Middleware tools such as Kafka Informatica Tibco etc.
• Experience in implementing Integration Patterns recommended by Salesforce using appropriate technology.
• Experience with SOQL
• Experience with TestDriven Development
• Experience with frontend web UI debugging (Chrome dev console)
• Understanding of Release Management Source Control CI/CD and Deployment concepts and technologies such as Github Jenkins SFDC Metadata API etc.
• Knowledge of options and how to handle security requirements such as single signon and data security

Desired Characteristics:

• Experience with AWS Experience with Data Engineering Data Modeling
• Experience with Business Intelligence (TableauCRM Datorama MicroStrategy Data Cloud)
• Experience in Advertising Sales Media and Entertainment
• Salesforce Certifications: Advanced Administrator Application Architect System Architect JavaScript Developer I Platform Developer II or equivalent
