Job Description
Responsible for implementing and supporting improvements efficiency enhancing software quality and accelerate delivery times. Having the shared responsibility between development/operations with a focus on people process tolls that take a unified customer/user focus. In a multidisciplinary team with Development QA IT Operations Infosec UCD etc. all working together to achieve a common goal of applying best practice in DevOps.
Key responsibilities
- Extensive experience of DevOps tooling containers and containerisation
- Analyse performance data to develop and test hypothesis relating to the design or operation of a service or product
- Communication: Able to speak to stakeholders and be able to transfer business requirements into technical implementation
- Facilitate information/business knowledge: Able to act as a business SME and understand what the business needs and how to support this into an efficient DevOps team.
- Stakeholder Management: Able to negotiate and influence with stakeholders to ensure the service runs effectively and efforts are placed correctly.
Requirement
- Expert in AWS services and CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance
- Extensive experience of cloud computing and best practices/ emerging technologies
- Experienced with multiple ecosystem databases architecture and integrations
- Knowledge of Python Terraform and SQL
- Embracing automation and implement CI/CD to improve quality and minimise downtime
- Proactive monitoring and effective incident response to detect and efficiently resolve issues
- Focussing on continuous improvement fast feedback high empathy and trust
- Defining ways of working that aligns to standards and best practice.

Additional Requirements:
- Must be reliable and flexible.
- Hours of work will be between 08:00 18:00 with an 8hour working day staggered across the 10hour timeframe.
