Job Description
Responsible for accumulating and organizing data to prepare journal entries and reconciliations for the general ledger. Prepare related reports as prescribed and/or requested.
- Job Functions.
- Prepare and maintain accurate and thorough accounting records relative to the general ledger including but not necessarily limited to:
- Daily cash entries
- Intercompany accounting
- Pcard accounting.
- Perform reconciliations of monthly cash receivables other assets and accruals.
- Analyze related financial statements and make sound and actionable recommendations based on the findings.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in an accounting or finance discipline preferred; substantial related experience may be substituted.
- Minimum of three 3 years of experience in accounting/finance in a comparable position required.
- Must be detailoriented and able to effectively multitask and prioritize.
- Must have strong communication skills.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
