Job Description
Join theAutoScout24 security team and be part of our Information Security team that is a highly skilled group supporting all our teams to build and run secure digital products. What Youll Do:
- Lead the design and development of security products and ensures they integrate smoothly with the technology bestpractices product segments way of work crossfunctions customer perspective
- Evangelize the use of the security products their team provides and consults other teams on usecases and best practices especially with regards to platform model and standardization
- Help define security best practices and increases companywide adoption
- Lead the technical design of the products being built within the team as well knowledgesharing quality improvement and customer adoption improvements
- Responsible for multiple technical areas or processes within the team. Leads technical discussions and improvements around them.
- Endtoend ownership for one or more technical areas security products developed within the team participates on the oncall setup within Information
- Troubleshoot security incidents and occasionally act as a security incident commander as defined in the Security Incident Management process
What Were Looking For:
- Genuine interest and passion for Security
- Strong knowledge of attack vectors and defense strategies (e.g. OWASP Top 10
- Handson experience on building secure architectures leveraging opensource solutions
- Handson experience in AWS Cloud security architecture and development
- Deep experience working with software engineers and providing security consultancy in the SDLC process
- Deep understanding of SAST DAST and their use in development pipelines
- Proficiency with at least one programming language (preferably Python but its not a must)
- Experience with our stack of technologies: (AWS CloudFormation ECS ELK stack Docker Kubernetes Different SaaS solutions (e.g. GitHub Auth0 Tomcat/JVM based stacks Python based backend tools).
- Experience with opensource tools / frameworks Strong software development background 2 years working experience as Security Engineer
- Enjoy working with commandline tools in Unix environments
- Experience leveraging AI Generative AI (GenAI) to enhance engineering productivity automate repetitive tasks and optimize workflows. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to integrate AIdriven solutions into their daily work such as code generation debugging reviews documentation and decision supportto improve efficiency for themselves and their teams. A proactive approach to exploring and implementing AI tools that drive innovation and streamline development processes is highly valued.
