DescriptionOverview:We are looking to hire a Senior Mechanical Engineer Rotating Equipment for a national oil and gas operator in Doha must have a 10 years of relevant post graduate experience in Oil & Gas industry of which 6 years should be in Rotating Equipment in English is a Responsibilities:Provide technical design and engineering services in Rotating Equipment Engineering for all assigned engineering projects. Achieving the technical quality of work in accordance with procedures whilst considering quality schedule cost and Rotating Equipment Engineering activities and inhouse site surveys for projects from initial concept definition phase through to; engineering studies FEED detailed design and the required technical assurance practices engineering standards environmental and safety policies are incorporated and followed in workscopes and whilst conducting Rotating Equipment Engineering activities. Review technical deviations and variations to approved guidelines codes standards and Engineering Department to review update and apply standards and amendments to external and coordinate activities of a team of multidiscipline engineers for providing timely delivery of technical services to meet the project engineering designs develop and review multidisciplinary workscopes for projects and other engineering activities. Ensure the workscope is comprehensive and and approve method statements developed by contracted organisations for scope compliance. Liaise with contracted organisations to resolve technical update and monitor schedules for inhouse engineering activities contribute to external FEED/ EPIC scheduling activities and effective project evaluation of technical bid packages for scope and evaluate the Contract Changes/ Variation to approved guidelines and the development of personal technical competency and skills and those of :Bachelors degree in Mechanical EngineeringChartered/ Professional Engineer status or equivalent is preferableMinimum 10 years of relevant post graduate experience in Oil & Gas industry of which 6 years should be in Rotating Equipment EngineeringAbility to identify and utilize relevant engineering standards and codes related to Rotating Equipment EngineeringProven ability to manage time cost and quality in engineering projects within a multiple project environmentFluency in English with good verbal and writing communication skills and proficiency for conducting presentationsBHMS0866 RequirementsWhere are you locatedWhats your nationalityWhat is your notice period; when can you engage this jobPlease only apply and press yes if you have read the requirements education experience and certifications and match Qatar
