Job Description
The Mill Utility position at Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM) in Arkansas City KS is a fulltime hourly role that plays a crucial part in the manufacturing production maintenance and utilities operations of the facility. The job involves a variety of assignments that are essential for the smooth functioning of the mill. Potential assignments may include loading and unloading trucks and railcars operating forklifts skid steers grain dryers and similar equipment. Employees will also utilize computerized systems to process data and perform general maintenance and housekeeping duties which include cleaning equipment and buildings. Additionally the role requires assisting operations personnel and supervisors as needed ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Candidates for this position must demonstrate a commitment to ADMs goal of achieving a zero injury culture and must understand and follow company safety procedures. A high school education or equivalent is preferred and candidates should exhibit regular and prompt attendance. The physical demands of the job include prolonged periods of standing and sitting working in confined spaces and from heights bending kneeling climbing stairs and ladders and working in various conditions such as heat cold and dust. The ability to lift up to 55 lbs unassisted is also required. The position may require working weekends and overtime as needed and candidates should demonstrate initiative to work independently while being flexible enough to work in a team setting when necessary. A professional image and a positive respectful attitude are expected at all times. Previous experience operating a computer and in maintenancerelated disciplines is preferred although not mandatory. It is important to note that relocation assistance is not available for this position. Requirements

ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Hourly and salaried nonexempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
If hired employees will be in an atwill position and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time including for reasons related to individual performance Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
The pay for this position is expected to be:
