Position Overview
C&S Wholesale Grocers/Hawaiian Housewares desires to create the countrys safest efficient and serviceforward fleet. As a Professional Driver with C&S Wholesale Grocers you will start your driving career with the company by working with a Professional Driver Trainer (PDT) who will provide coaching and insight on the C&S Way which includes company and regulatory requirements. Once you have successfully completed our new hire training program you will maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through product and service deliveries while performing all other assigned duties. All functions must be completed in a safe and timely manner and per the Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.Job Description
1st shift MondayFriday some weekends
Starting Pay: $33 per hour

Description
- Utilizing the specialized skills developed with experience and the C&S Professional Driver Training Program you will operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle (semitruck/eighteenwheeler/box truck etc) applying knowledge of training and commercial driving regulations to transport and safely deliver product
- Driver will load and unload (ambient or temperature sensitive) product to customers on an average of 310 stops per day
- Driver will inspect document and ensure equipment is operable in compliance with all regulatory and company requirements
- Inspect equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements
- All other duties as assigned

- Store : Freezer 20F to 0F)
- Warehouse : Perishable Warehouse 28F to 60F)
- Warehouse : Grocery Warehouse 50F to 90F)
Skills
- Specialized Knowledge : DOT Certified Class A Commercial Drivers License
- Special Skills : Must be at least 21 years old
- Physical abilities: : Valid Department Of Transportation Physical Exam.
- Other: : Must be DOT certified with all qualification requirements

Years Of Experience
- 12 : Minimum 1 year of recent tractortrailer experience
- 12 : Supporting a large Enterprise Storage environment
- 12 : One year of recent applicable CMV experience or participation/completion of a companyapproved CDL truck driving school
