ABOUT BALTIMORE COUNTRY CLUB
Baltimore Country Club was founded in 1898 and it was a success from the start with 600 members enjoying its 150acre facility less than five miles from downtown Baltimore. Just one year after opening the Club gained immediate recognition in the golf world by hosting the fifth United States Open Championship. DAY IN THE LIFE AS A COOK
As a Cook in the kitchens of the Baltimore Country Club you are part of a culinary staff with exceptional standards. You are passionate about good food and exceeding our members expectations. Each shift you prepare food items for alacarte dining including breakfasts luncheons dinners holiday events and special parties. You carefully follow recipes and work hard to ensure the quality and consistency of the food and that it is ready in a timely manner. You also serve members and guests by working at carving stations and buffet lines.

In addition to the proper preparation of food you ensure its properly stored and handled. You inspect food prep and serving areas regularly to ensure safe sanitary foodhandling practices. You love the camaraderie that comes with working as part of a cohesive culinary team in a tightlyrun kitchen. You enjoy working in a fastpaced environment where you are never bored and time goes by quickly.

QUALIFICATIONS
At least two years of culinary experience in a fastpaced environment; High school diploma or equivalent; Food handlers card; Experience with a variety of dining venues such as fine dining buffets grill stations and/ or display cooking. Experience working in a Country Club or fine dining experience is strongly preferred but not required.
