About the Role
Were working with a professional services firm looking for a Tax Manager who knows partnership tax inside and out. If youre someone who can confidently navigate multistate filings passthrough entity (PTE) taxes and composite returnsand explain the details without getting lost in jargonthis could be your next move.
What Youll Be Doing
- Own all things tax compliancefederal state and local
- Lead the prep and review of partnership tax filings including composite and withholding
- Be the goto for audits and tax authority questions
- Keep partners in the loop on how taxes impact them
- Manage 1099s property tax sales/use tax and local reporting
- Advise leadership on new tax laws and firm transactions
- Align tax strategy with bigpicture financial goals
- Mentor team members and work with external advisors
What Were Looking For
- CPA with 10 years in tax
- Deep knowledge of partnership tax and PTE rules
- Strong communicator who can simplify the complex
- Confident leading advising and collaborating across teams
- Sharp with Excel and solid presentation skills
