Job Summary
We are looking for a detailedoriented and highly organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. We offer paid onthejob training to prepare you for success and career progression opportunities. The Accounts Payable specialist will be responsible for the fullcycle accounts payable process including invoice entry reconciliation vendor communication and ensuring payments are processed efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures.
- Process team member expense reports.
- Record auto payments deducted from our bank account.
- Pay building rent monthly.
- Reconcile purchase orders prices terms of payment and other charges.
- May pay property and income taxes depending on location.
- May split and bill shared expenses depending on location.
- Complete and submit credit applications to set up accounts with new vendors.
- Create profiles for new vendors.
- Communicate daily with the Parts department for all price/inventory corrections.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least one 1 year of experience in a customer service position is preferred. Prior experience working a parts counter is a plus.
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Intermediate computer skills including (but not limited to); PFW Microsoft Office and internet functions.
- Effectively handle lifting various objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
