Position Summary
Opportunities to teach within the Health Sciences and Family Studies Division at GRC. Teaching options may include Fundamentals of Caregiving (FOC) Nurse Assistant (prep for CAN) Community Lab or PN courses.

Green River Colleges student body is made up of approximately 41 Academic Transfer students 34 ProfessionalTechnicalstudents 15 Adult Basic Educationstudent and3 Applied Bachelor degrees. Green River College has four campuses including the main campus in Auburn Washingtonwith satellite campuses in Kent downtown Auburn and Enumclaw. Green River programs serve high school graduates Running Start students (dual enrollment in local high schools and the college) those seeking retraining for the workforce international students students learning English and Continuing Education students. Green Rivers service areas are increasingly ethnically diverse comprising African Americans African immigrants Asian Americans Asians Latinx Native Americans Pacific Islanders and Middle Eastern Americans among other communities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degreein Nursing (Masters degree in Nursingrequiredfor ALL Practical Nursing and ADN courses)
- Three years recent acute or long termnursing care experience for Practical and ADN Nursing faculty; one year long term/chronic illness care forNursing Assistant faculty
- Eligible for or have unencumbered a Washington state RN/PN license; must be obtained as a condition of employment

This position is part of a bargaining unit subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
