Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Home Health Care Specialist

Position Overview
As a Home Health PTA youll work alongside licensed Physical Therapists to implement treatment plans and provide handson care in patients homes. This role offers a perfect blend of autonomy and collaborative practice while making a meaningful difference in patients lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive physical therapy treatments following established care plans
- Conduct followup visits with home health orthopedic patients
- Provide expert instruction in therapeutic exercises and functional activities
- Train patients in the proper use of assistive devices and prostheses
- Document patient progress and maintain detailed clinical records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety protocols
- Monitor and adjust treatment approaches based on patient progress
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Physical Therapy
- Current state PTA license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of home health experience
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in electronic health records documentation
