Job Description

Work Flexibility: Onsite

As a Supervisor Test Lab Operations under the guidance of the department leadership you will support management of the Test Lab Operations first and second shift teams and provide daytoday leadership to team/teams tied to the commercialization of products through testing activities. The Test Lab supports all Business Units within Instruments.

This role is onsite in Portage MI in the office 5 days a week.

What You Will Do:

  • Execute a robust talent offense by attracting developing retaining and engaging top talent while driving personal/professional growth of individuals and the team and delivering highquality results with passion energy and drive.
  • Support a culture of diversity inclusion and belonging at a team level in hiring and staff development.
  • Support and mentor others in complex cooperative efforts across crossfunctional teams influencing ones own technical areas of expertise and building key relationships to drive innovation and ensure achievement of business goals.
  • Train develop and retain top talent while ensuring a pipeline of talent is established for future roles.
  • Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to drive proactive NPD planning accuracy and efficiency on an ongoing basis.
  • Will ensure consistent practices within the department related to product verification test equipment development report writing and communication methods.
  • Will work with internal SMEs on test protocol assignments using established systems. This is to include prereview assignment and postapproval of Test Request including final signoff.
  • Will coordinate with the Stryker Instruments business units to ensure appropriate tests analysis equipment and results are obtained and communicated effectively and efficiently.

What You Need:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 4 years of experience
  • 2 years of experience in a highly regulated environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • People or project leadership experience
  • Experience in a test lab setting

Travel Percentage: 10
