Job Description
Primoris Power Solutions is seeking an Project Engineer in the Fort Worth Texas market. This position is responsible for delivering safe costeffective and quality of medium to large scale electric substation transmission and distribution projects and/or client accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Following Primoris Policies and Procedures.
- Management of the client and project stakeholders ensuring effective business relationships are in place and trusted by all.
- Manage all aspects of contract negotiation change order identification submittal and approval administration establish the system to carry out the contract including management of subcontractors.
- Provide effective change control and risk management processes.
- Provide support to HSE and Quality programs for the project.
- Create thorough estimates and proposals.
- Provide effective project meetings (project kickoff client alignment status meeting progress review etc..
- Provide meaningful performance related feedback/input to appropriate line management and project team members.
- Responsible for project reporting and status for the project team management and client.
- Provide accurate project financials reports to project accounting with adequate backup for management internal and external accounting and/or SOX requirements.
- Provide effective financial controls to ensure project profitability and expected cash flow positions.
- Manage accurate invoices to ensure timely issuance and payment.
Education & Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in either Electrical Civil or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 510 years of tangible experience in utility construction (i.e. Transmission Distribution and or Substation)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.
- State registered Professional Engineer preferred.
- Primavera experience preferred.
