POSITION: Director of Organizational Effectiveness
LOCATION: DSST: Home Office
SALARY: $97500 $117600 with up to 10 years of aligned experience
STATUS: Full time benefits eligible exempt inperson position (Denver CO)

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Director of Organizational Effectiveness works in collaboration with leaders across DSST to dramatically increase alignment and clarity across home office and school leadership teams in service of our mission. The Director of Organizational Effectiveness will envision create and sustain mission critical systems and coaching to meet school needs and address organizational root causes in pursuit of big goals. This position requires superior relationship building leadership coaching and operational skills as well as the ability to persevere through ambiguity communicate with clarity and precision and manage stakeholders at a variety of levels in the organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The Director of Organizational Effectiveness will lead missioncritical work across our network that will:
Design modify and communicate DSSTs tiered support systems leading for streamlined targeted supports and effective priority supports for identified schools.
Lead tiered school support system organizing across multiple teams to provide high quality support to meet the needs of schools; Provide on the ground coaching and support to both home office and school teams to meet school needs and in support of achieving goals.
Lead the school planning process to ensure that each school has high quality plans for the year ahead.
Design own and drive multiple complex and networkwide systems that promote a high degree of clarity and alignment between home office and schools
Serve as liaison between school leaders and home office teams.
Manage various special projects as assigned with a high degree of network impact.
AREAS OF FOCUS
Lead tiered school support system leading and organizing across multiple teams to provide high quality support to meet the needs of schools; Provide on the ground coaching and support to both home office and school teams to meet school needs and in support of achieving goals.70:
Lead an intentional system for identifying tiered school support needs across schools.
Provide coaching and support to home office and school teams to meet school needs in pursuit of goals.
Collaborate across schools and home office teams to identify content and cadence of supports to meet school needs.
Lead the system for monitoring progress and effectiveness of tiered school supports across schools.
Lead efforts to ensure our tiered support process is codified and well communicated.
Lead school improvement efforts including leading the process to identify Unified Improvement Plans for state compliance.
Design own and drive multiple complex and network wide systems that promote a high degree of clarity and alignment between home office and schools 20:
Lead strategic work to evaluate and diagnose current state of organizational effectiveness.
Create and implement plans to improve organizational effectiveness.
Designing developing and maintaining multiple institutionwide systems and resources for strategic organizational communication action step management and resource sharing among Home Office leaders Managing Directors School Directors and campus leadership staff.
Design develop and maintain systems and resources in collaboration with home office and school leaders to guide DSSTs continued expansion (e.g. School Launch Playbook).
Training Home Office and School Staff to support adoption and effective implementation of systems and resources.
Partnering with senior leaders across the organization (e.g. Chiefs Managing Directors of Schools Academic Vice Presidents etc) to inspire and create alignment and accountability to institutionwide systems and structures for communication and collaboration
Lead the school planning process to ensure that each school has a high quality plans for the year ahead 10
Design the system for school planning such that schools receive aligned guidance from the network and engage in a streamlined effective process to plan for the year ahead.
Lead the system to monitor the completion of school planning deliverables and provide high quality aligned feedback.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree
710 years of professional experience in education and school leadership
5 years experience managing multiple projects work streams or initiatives
5 years experience in setting & of strategic vision and goals
Excellent people leadership skills; able to provide timely and actionable feedback to inspire and move adults across the organization to action
Experience with change management on the organization level
Experience in developing systems that achieve efficiency and scalability; can lead large scale workstreams
Excellent organization time management and followthrough; a high sense of urgency
Ability to thrive in a fastpaced entrepreneurial environment
Ideal Qualifications:
Leadership experience (e.g. principal/school director or assistant principal/school director) at a highperforming charter school within a medium to large charter management organization strongly preferred.
