Seattle WA Retail shopESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for adherence to company policies including safety and the use of personal protective equipment.
Identifies and establishes key prospective customers in the life science biotech research pharmaceutical aerospace energy electronics and government segments within the territory.
Promotes the Companys competitive position products and services
Develops sales objectives for the territory and recommends appropriate action.
Achieves profitable sales targets in the assigned territory through sales of high pressure and cryogenic gases gas delivery systems related gas handling and safety equipment.
Increases sales and profit margin through penetration to assigned accounts and by closing new accounts.
Provides customer specific safety training in compressed gas handling and cryogenics.
Answers customer inquiries and satisfactorily resolves customer complaints.
Maintains regular activity levels and results through CRM system .
May need to travel and stay overnight to visit customer locations within the established area.
Maintain a professional presence and demeanor that is reflective of a corporate image.
Serves as a technical resource to respond to requests for design consultation and quotations based on engineering specifications and drawings for lab and manufacturing construction planning and tenant Improvements.
Maintains awareness and communicates market trends and anticipates possible business opportunities and competition for the area.
Responsible for attending all training scheduled by the company.

Education:
Bachelors Degree from a four year college/university in a related field is preferred.
Required Length and Type of Experience:
Two to four years related sales experience with Life Science customers in the University Research Pharmaceutical Aerospace Energy Electronics and government segments.
Should have indepth knowledge and ability to work with a diverse customer base including application engineers researchers scientists purchasing and supply chain managers
Knowledge of industrial specialty bulk and cryogenics gases and related supplies and equipment preferred.
Proven successful track record of achieving sales growth.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs):
Ability to be available to work a very flexible schedule.
Must be able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds.
Work observe and demonstrate safety as a condition of our employment in a professional manner in both Airgas and customer locations.
Job requires visitation to various Airgas and customer sites which have varying environments/conditions layouts and accessibility. Environment may contain loud noises and/or odors that may last for an extended period of time or on a continual basis
Must have the ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as Safety Shoes Safety Glasses Hard Hat and Metatarsals.
Proven ability to work independently and under tight deadlines in a detail oriented environment.
Must possess a valid drivers license clean driving record and appropriate level of auto insurance coverage.
Must have reliable transportation and be able to work flexible hours to meet management expectations.
Must have proficient computer skills using Google systems and CRM system (specifically .
Must be comfortable with public speaking and presenting information in front of a group.
Possess strong interpersonal and oral communication skills to communicate effectively with a diverse group of associates management medical and insurance personnel regulatory agencies and/or members of the general public.
