What its like to be a Production Associate Level 1
As a FullTime Production Associate Level 1 at Steele Rubber Products you will be an essential part of our manufacturing team directly influencing the quality and efficiency of our operations. Your daily responsibilities will include using job sheets to select the appropriate raw materials along with loading and unloading molds and operating a rubber press. You will prepare raw materials by drilling holes into extrusions and inserting clips as well as trimming and finishing parts to ensure they meet quality standards. Regular quality control checks accurately recording production data and adhering to safety protocols with proper PPE will be vital to your role. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will contribute significantly to the success of our manufacturing processes and the satisfaction of our customers.

What were looking for in a Production Associate Level 1
To thrive as a FullTime Production Associate Level 1 at Steele Rubber Products possessing a diverse skill set is crucial. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using basic tools such as screwdrivers pliers hammers and pry bars as well as scales and rulers. The ability to perform calculations with whole numbers fractions and decimals is essential along with working comfortably with units of weight and volume.
You should be adept at following instructions whether they are written oral or presented in diagram form while maintaining strict adherence to safety rules and operating procedures. Attention to detail is critical as you will be responsible for executing tasks that directly impact product quality. Additionally physical capabilities such as the ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of 68 hours each day are necessary for this role.
A high school diploma or equivalent is a minimum requirement for success in this position.
