Job Description

As a growing practice we are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Licensed Dispensing Optician to join our dynamic team. As a Licensed Dispensing Optician you will play a pivotal role in our patients experience with us. You will be responsible for maintaining the daily operations of the sales floor alongside your coworkers contributing to a positive and team based work environment and consistently providing our patients with exceptional experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care:Assist patients with frame selection ensuring comfort style and functionality.
- Prescription Interpretation:Accurately interpret optical prescriptions and provide suitable lens options.
- Customer Service:Deliver exceptional service by addressing patient concerns adjusting frames and performing repairs.
- Sales Support:Utilize your training and knowledge to educate patients on the benefits of different lens materials coatings and frame styles helping them make informed purchasing decisions.
- Compliance:Maintain compliance with all policies and procedures as well as state and federal regulations including proper documentation and adherence to all safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Licensing:Must hold a valid Dispensing Optician License in the state of Massachusetts.
- Technical Skills:Proficient in using optical equipment such as lensometer; strong understanding of lens materials coatings and frame adjustments.
- Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex information in a clear patientfriendly manner.
- Customer Focus:Strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others.
- Team Player:Ability to work collaboratively with coworkers.
