Job Description

On behalf of our awardwinning professional services client we are conducting a search for a new Director of HR a key leader responsible for optimizing firm operations while fostering a peoplefirst culture. This role oversees HR functions including benefits administration performance evaluations and employee onboarding alongside process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and firm profitability. With a focus on people and process this proactive individual contributor reports to an executive team member supporting 40 employees located with easy on/off Hwy 64.

Primary Job Responsibilities

People & Culture (HR Leadership)

  • Oversee all aspects of HR management including benefits administration compensation structures and compliance with labor laws.
  • Lead employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure seamless integration of new hires.
  • Manage the performance evaluation process ensuring clear expectations feedback loops and career development pathways.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to boost retention and workplace satisfaction.
  • Act as a trusted resource for employees handling employee relations conflict resolution and workplace policies.
  • Ensure the firm maintains a diverse inclusive and highperforming culture aligned with core values.

Process & Operational Efficiency

  • Analyze and optimize internal administrative workflows to improve productivity and profitability.
  • Implement and manage firmwide standard operating procedures (SOPs) for client service compliance and administrative functions.
  • Oversee process automation initiatives integrating technology to streamline repetitive tasks.
  • Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in firm operations ensuring scalable growth.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to firm efficiency employee productivity and client satisfaction.

Strategic Leadership & Change Management

  • Work closely with firm leadership to align people strategies with business goals.
  • Lead change management efforts ensuring smooth adoption of new systems processes and cultural shifts.
  • Partner with department heads to establish team goals accountability structures and career growth frameworks.

Key Qualifications Skills and Abilities

  • Minimum Bachelors degree Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
  • National HR certification (e.g. SHRMSCP or related) Talent Management or Compensation / Benefits certification credential desired.
  • Minimum seven years of progressive experience in HR operations or process management (professional services experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of benefits administration performance management and compliance.
  • Experience with change management process improvement and automation.
  • Excellent leadership communication and problemsolving skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software firm management tools and automation solutions.
  • Strong relationshipbuilding skills with a collaborative leadership style.
  • Promotes and adheres to the companys mission vision and values; Policies and applicable laws in a fair and equitable manner.
  • Typical Monday Friday work schedule primarily onsite with some flexibility.
  • Successfully complete preemployment background screening.
