What Youll Do
This is a handson versatile role that blends craftsmanship with warehouse leadership. During the week youll run our inhouse repair shop handling minor furniture repairs touchups and prepping pieces for delivery. On Saturdays youll step into a leadership role overseeing warehouse operations to keep everything moving smoothly.
Heres what your week will look like:
Furniture Repair & Quality Control (Weekdays):
Inspect incoming furniture for damage wear or quality issues.
Repair wood fabric leather and metal furniture using professional tools and techniques.
Use woodworking skills sanding staining fastening and structural repairs to bring pieces back to life.
Perform traditional furniture repair techniques such as burnins color matching grain replication and detailed touchup work.
Document repairs and maintain a clean organized work area.
Assist with general warehouse operations including unloading inbound shipments once or twice per week.
Warehouse Supervision (Saturdays):
Oversee warehouse activities like receiving staging and outbound loading.
Lead and support warehouse team members keeping operations safe and efficient.
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
Solve problems on the fly and maintain a clean organized warehouse.
What Were Looking For
Carpentry or Woodworking Skills: Handson experience with wood repair finishing assembly or general carpentry work. Furniture repair experience is a plus but not required; if you have a basic background well train the right person.
Leadership Ability: Experience supervising or leading warehouse shop or field crews.
Warehouse Experience: Familiarity with warehouse operations; forklift experience is a big plus.
High initiative problemSolver: Youre not just a problem solver youre a problem spotter. You spot issues early and take pride in fixing them.
Physically Capable: Able to lift move and handle large pieces of furniture throughout the day.
Organized & DetailOriented: Whether repairing a piece or staging outbound shipments youre methodical and careful.
High initiative: You have an open mind and a keen sense of observation.
Schedule
TuesdayFriday: Repair/warehouse support (typically 7:30 AM 4:00 PM)
Saturday: Warehouse Supervisor shift 7:30 AM 4:00 PM hours may vary slightly based on volume)
Some flexibility is needed depending on business needs.
