Davis Behavioral Health is seeking a fulltime Registered Nurses (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join the nursing team at the Davis County Receiving Center (RC). The RC is a 2372 hour alternative to inpatient hospitalization or incarceration that specializes in shortterm crisis resolution. This facility provides observation screening and social detoxification for police dropoffs emergency department transfers and walkin crisis services. The primary purpose of the Receiving Center is to provide a short length of stay and a focus on stabilizing the crisis and returning a person to community supports.

Required Experience
Must be licensed as either a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Utah and be in good standing.
The selected candidate must successfully pass a preemployment criminal background check and drug screening. DBH will not hire individuals currently using illegal or abusing alcohol; therefore making employment at DBH conditional upon successfully passing preemployment drug screening by providing a valid sample. Candidates who are offered employment are required to report for a drug screen at an Intermountain WorkMed location within 24 hours of being requested to do so by the DBH Human Resources Department.
Davis Behavioral Health works with Federal grants and must comply with the Federal drug laws including no use of medical .
DBH utilizes an electronic health record system so computer literacy is a must for employment.
Preference will be given for applicants who are fluent in Spanish but this is not a requirement for employment in this opening.
