Ensure the safety and wellbeing of customers in aquatic facilities

About the opportunity:
The focus of these positions is to provide lifeguarding functions instruct swimming lessons assist in the operation of an aquatic facility and respond to a variety of customer requests and concerns. The hours are flexible and varied involving morning afternoon evening and weekend shifts. The purpose of this posting is to develop a contingency list of preselected qualified candidates to fill existing or future vacancies in the position. The City will review applications on an ongoing basis.
About your background:
You have completed Grade 10 as well as current certificates and awards as follows:
- National Lifeguard Award Pool Option
- Lifesaving Society Swim for Life Instructor
- Eight 8 hours of teaching experience.
- Standard First Aid/CPRC/AED
The following awards will be considered an asset:
- Lifesaving Instructor Award
- Certified BCRPA Aquafit Instructor
