Minimum Qualifications:
- Current ARRT and MRTBE certification.
- 1 or more years of experience in clinical patient setting preferred
- Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system knowledge helpful
- Valid state license and BMO certification
Preferred:
- Previous experience working as an BMO preferred
Essential Functions
- Greet patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Produce quality radiographs to assist in the diagnosis of illnesses or injury
- Educate patients regarding the procedure
- Create and maintain patient electronic medical record (EMR)
- Provide patients with copies of the images upon request
- Ensure images are in the PACS system
- Maintain quantity and quality control checks to assure Xray unit meets standards required by laws rules and departmental policies.
- Clean maintain and make minor adjustments to radiographic equipment including determining repairs needed to equipment.
- Protect patient and other personnel from radiation hazards
- Maintain radiographic supplies
