Are you a compassionate Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) with a passion for advocacy and patient care Our innovative and rapidly expanding transplant team is looking for a dedicated Independent Living Donor LMSW to help support our living kidney donor program. As an essential member of our team youll work directly with living donors ensuring their wellbeing and serving as their advocate throughout the transplant process.
What Youll Do:
Advocate for Living Donors: Serve as the Independent Living Donor Advocate providing crucial support and guidance for living kidney donors
Care Coordination: Manage the biopsychosocial needs of transplant patients helping them navigate the challenges of the transplant journey
Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop implement and coordinate patient treatment plans
Patient Support: Provide counseling and crisis intervention to both patients and their families offering emotional support through complex decisions
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to transplant program policies procedures and relevant regulatory standards
Experience and Skills:
Additional Job Description
Education: Masters degree in Social Work or Social Welfare program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education required.
Licensure/Certificates: Licensed Social Worker or Clinical Social Worker in South Carolina required. Basic Life Support with American Heart Association (AHA) required
