Whats the role

In this role you will use various raw components to assemble medical devices ensuring that those devices meet the various quality standards outlined in the work instructions and product drawings.

Katalyst Surgical is a rapidly growing reputable organization and member of the Zeiss Family of Companies operating out of the Chesterfield Valley. We are ISOCertified and FDAInspected and Certified with a fully climatecontrolled facility and individual working spaces conducive to sitting and standing.

This position will work onsite in our Chesterfield Missouri office. Candidates seeking remote work will not be considered.

Sounds Interesting

Heres what youll do:

  • Consistently meet quality and productivity output goals

  • Read and follow entry level work instructions that require using proper tooling meeting specific measurements and following procedural steps that have been outlined for each product within the department

  • Keep working areas per the 5S (sort set in order shine standardize and sustain) methodology clean and organized.

  • Comprehensive understanding of all applicable MSOPs QCSOPs GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and line clearance requirements.

  • Maintain proper documentation per GDP (Good Documentation Practices) by filling out work orders correctly and accurately recording accepted and rejected quantities.

  • Follow and understand FIFO (First IN first OUT) methodology.

  • Listen and communicate effectively with Technicians Leads Assistant Engineers Project Managers and Supervisors about any production quality function or safety issues.

  • Identify and s defects per Zeiss quality standards.

  • Execute test procedures and record accurate results

  • Provide input on corrective actions

  • Perform inprocess and final testing on product and routine equipment maintenance

  • Able to use a microscope and understand magnification levels for visual inspection

  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

  • Ensure that all assembled product meets quality standards and specifications.

  • Maintain a production environment that complies and follows all quality standards and government regulated standards.

  • Performs manufacturing process according to MSOPs & MPIs.

  • Performs inprocess inspection according to QCSOPs & QIS.

  • Previous assembly experience

  • Solid work history in any industry will be considered

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a fulltime position. Usual hours of work are Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. 40 hours per week overtime may be required as needed.
