Job Description
Primoris Power Solutions is seeking an Engineer II in the Fort Worth Texas market. The Engineer II is an intermediate level position with limited supervision from seniorlevel engineers or project managers that is responsible for the performance of engineering tasks related to power distribution design including final QA/QC within the Power Delivery Engineering team. The incumbent is required to demonstrate strong a technical acumen with exceptional problemsolving ability to understand complex modeling applications and develops modernization of overhead and underground distribution systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides development and design services on overhead and underground utility distribution line projects.
- Responsible for managing on multiple projects and able to prioritize.
- Interfaces with utility clients and collaboration with design team.
- Prepares and develops distribution voltage construction packages for both overhead and underground construction.
- Utilized GIS information to aide in design.
- Provide leadership guidance and instruction to less experienced staff members.
- Field walkdowns.
- Prepare calculations and equipment specifications.
- Experience as in Engineer in the utility construction.
- Hybrid office and remote
Education & Minimum Requirements:
- Associates degree in a related discipline is preferred.
- 25 years of experience in power distribution engineering GIS/CAD or other craft discipline.
