What is this role about
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Practice Manager (referred to internally as a Clinical Operations Manager) to oversee the efficient functioning of our primary care office. The Clinical Operations Manager will play a crucial role in managing the clinical operations ensuring regulatory compliance optimizing workflows and enhancing the overall patient experience. The incumbent will work collaboratively with our leadership team primary care providers patient liaisons EMTs and fellow clinic administrators as part of the careteam model.
What are some of the daytoday duties
This clinicbased role will include but not limited to the following responsibilities:
Manage daytoday clinical operations of the primary care office including staffing scheduling and resource allocation to ensure smooth operations.
Develop and implement operational policies procedures and protocols to enhance efficiency productivity and quality of care.
Collaborate with providers clinical support staff and leadership team to streamline processes and improve patient flow.
Oversee the recruitment training and performance evaluation of clinic staff to maintain a motivated and high performing team.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements accreditation standards and best practices in clinical operations.
Work collaboratively with our VP of Operations to monitor and analyze key performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
Manage inventory supplies and equipment necessary for clinical operations ensuring adequate availability and proper maintenance.
Serve as a liaison between clinical staff administrative leadership and external partners to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
Providing information and facilitating office tours for patients interested in joining our practice
Resolving claims issues with third party insurance carriers and facilitating requested information in a timely fashion
Engaging with patients and their family members/caretakers to resolve claim issues and other insurance hurdles
Providing additional documentation needed for timely claims processing by conducting research and preparing for appeals
Providing support to colleagues as needed in a teambased environment to ensure our patients receive the highest quality of service and care possible

What are the requirements for this position
Proven experience in clinical operations management preferably in a primary care setting.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
Knowledge of healthcare regulations compliance standards and quality improvement methodologies.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
Strong interpersonal skills with experience working in settings requiring frequent communication via phone and inperson
Proficiency in healthcare information systems and software applications such as email Outlook calendar etc.
Ability to work regular office hours Monday through Friday
Ability to work for any employer in the United States
What are the preferred nice to have requirements
Strong knowledge of Medicare billing and CPT coding
Experience with Athena or another Electronic Health Record software
Experience with seniors underserved populations individuals with disabilities or other complex social needs
