Position Overview:

Are you ready to take your audit career to the next level As an Internal Auditor at our organization youll dive into a variety of exciting challenges across operational reviews enterprise risk management loss prevention and SOX compliance. What Youll Do:

  • Lead the planning and scoping of internal audit reviews using data analytics and riskfocused strategies

  • Execute thorough audits by documenting processes (flowcharts narratives risk/control matrices) and performing efficiency assessments

  • Communicate findings and recommendations to leadership in engaging solutionfocused presentations

  • Draft impactful internal audit reports that influence decisionmaking at the highest levels

  • Collaborate with departments to implement meaningful lasting remediation strategies

  • Perform SOX 404 compliance testing and partner with teams to close gaps and ensure smooth compliance

  • Evaluate and escalate potential control deficiencies and risks

  • Keep your finger on the pulse of organizational change to ensure Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) stays relevant

  • Work closely with external auditors to drive successful audit outcomes

  • Present audit insights to executives and stakeholders in a clear compelling way

  • Foster strong relationships across the business and contribute to ongoing process improvements

  • Take on new challenges and special projects as they arise youll never be bored here!

Lets Talk About You:

  • 2 years of professional accounting/audit experience preferably in public practice or public companies

  • Solid understanding of internal controls and compliance including SOX and/or Bill 198

  • Experience in environments backed by private equity or listed on public markets

  • Strong grasp of corporate accounting and financial reporting including IFRS

  • Familiarity with the COSO framework and riskbased audit methodologies

  • Proven project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities

  • Advanced MS Office and Excel skills you know how to turn data into insight

  • Experience with ERP systems like MS Dynamics 365 and audit platforms like AuditBoard is a big plus
