What youll be responsible for:
We are currently seeking Vice President Controller to lead our accounting operations and help drive our mission forward. Reporting to the CFO the Controller will be responsible for the development implementation and maintenance of the accounting systems.The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in healthcare accounting a passion for operational excellence and the ability to lead and inspire highperforming teams.
What youll work on:
- Financial planning and analysis general ledger accounting cost and asset accounting payroll and accounts payable billing and accounts receivable
- Oversee all accounts ledgers and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements
- Maintain internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue costs and program budgets and actual expenditures
- Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicating monthly quarterly and annual financial statements to leadership
- Assist leadership in annual budgeting and planning
- Continual improvement of the budgeting process through education of department managers on financial issues impacting their budget
- Enhance/develop policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the corporation
- Provide team with professional and personal growth opportunities
- Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
- Build teams manage people processes and client relationships concurrently
- Supervises various roles within Finance and Accounting
What youll bring to Access TeleCare:
- Bachelors degree in finance from an accredited college/university
- 15 years experience in a financial role
- CPA required
- Health care industry experience a plus
- Advanced degree preferred
- Proficiency with adding subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers fractions decimals and percentages
- Ability to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals professional journals technical procedures or governmental regulations
- Detail oriented and multitasker
- Excellent judgment and creative problemsolving skills including negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Proven and Excellent management skills: ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports
- Selfreliant good problem solver results oriented
- Energetic flexible collaborative and proactive; a team leader who can positively and productively impact both strategic and tactical finance and administration initiatives.
- Exceptional written oral interpersonal and presentation skills
- Thrive in a High growth fast paced organization and Remote based environment
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50 of the time.
