We are seeking aLead Quality Assurance (QA) Engineerto ensure the quality and functionality of applications and interfaces through rigorous testing practices. This role requires strong technical expertise leadership skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to deliver highquality solutions that meet performance usability scalability reliability and security standards.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance Leadership:
Lead QA initiatives manage teams and uphold quality standards across all testing processes.
Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical guidance.
Testing and Automation:
Design build and execute automated and manual test suites.
Perform various types of testing including functional performance security and mobile/web application testing.
Utilize tools such as Selenium JIRA and Jenkins to implement and manage testing strategies.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with developers product managers and other stakeholders to align QA efforts with business and technical requirements.
Communicate testing results and provide actionable recommendations.
ProblemSolving and Support:
Identify analyze and resolve software issues during testing.
Ensure continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.
DevOps and CI/CD Integration:
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins Git and Docker.
Support DevOps practices to improve automation and deployment processes.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors degree in computer science engineering or a related field is required.
Experience:
5 years of QA experience with 2 years in a leadership role preferred.
Handson experience in automation testing and familiarity with tools like Selenium Ginger or similar.
Proficiency in programming languages like Java Python JavaScript or Unix scripting.
Experience with SQL/NoSQL database design and management.
Knowledge of application architecture and microservices testing.
Industry Expertise:
Experience in the telecommunications industry and crossportfolio knowledge is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of software architecture testing methodologies and debugging techniques.
Familiarity with Agile methodology and DevOps practices.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) and monitoring tools.
Soft Skills
Exceptional problemsolving and analytical abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
Leadership skills to inspire and motivate teams manage conflicts and drive projects to completion.
Detailoriented with a commitment to delivering highquality software.
Ability to multitask and proactively manage priorities in fastpaced environments.
Preferred Certifications
ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board).
Certified Associate in Software Testing (CAST).
Our Lead Quality Assurance earns between $118800.00$178200.00 USD Annual not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography experience expertise and education/training.
