Job Description
Position Overview

As an Automation Technician I you will maintain and repair an automated material handling system. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining continuous system operation by troubleshooting repairing testing and performing preventive maintenance activities.

Compensation Range: $23.24$34.80
You Will Contribute By:
- Maintain all systems and subsystems of the automated material handling system during normal operation and perform preventative maintenance (PMs) and inspections during periodic downtime windows. Be able to use schematic and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot autonomous robotic vehicles and other components of an advanced integrated automation system
- Ensure rapid equipment return to serviceability by performing a thorough indepth troubleshooting on any nonfunctioning or faulted system subsystem or component. Keep Management informed of specific problems and suggested actions including approximate time required for repairs through defined escalation and communication procedures
- Remove and replace mechanical or electromechanical parts of the conveyor system such as: broken chain belting rollers drive motors realigning or replacing control system sensors (photoeyes) proximity etc.
- Replace electrical or mechanical components of autonomous robots and perform preventive maintenance. Be proficient in performing Preventive Maintenance on multiaxis robots and End Of Arm Tools. Be proficient with conveyor maintenance including Preventive Maintenance (PM) actions on automated conveyor equipment as directed.
- Document repairs PMs parts usage and time by completing work orders in a computerized maintenance data collection system (Maximo). Responsible for cleanup of equipment and removal of replaced parts from work areas after repairs are completed.

- Warehouse: Grocery Warehouse 50F to 90F)
Skills
- Can demonstrate ability to use basic hand tools and electrical measuring equipment.
- Ability to use and navigate computers and common computer software
- Equipment inspections mechanical repairs and replacements electrical repairs and replacements all of which require good mobility physical exertion walking bending reaching climbing ladders carrying tools and parts etc.
- Ability to work independent of supervisor following procedures and manuals and a high sense of urgency.
- Proficient in performing all inspection functions.
- Safely carries out work assignments following all company state and federal regulations.
Years Of Experience
- 13 years experience in a electromechanical field or equivalent education.
- Candidates with Maintenance or Automotive experience are encouraged to apply.
