Primary Purpose of Job:
As the Media Specialist your primary responsibility is the creation and general upkeep of Midwest Petroleums online presence. As a vital member of the marketing department you will create manage and engage customers using various media outlets including but not limited to: Social Media sites internal ad boards Fastback App and Midwest Petroleum Companys website. You will lead discussions and drive innovations with information gathered from customer data.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in executing marketing Midwest Petroleums loyalty program Fastback Rewards.
- Use loyalty app software to create planned promotions to drive more traffic to Midwest Petroleums Retail outlets.
- Perform customer engagement surveys with incentives.
- Deep dive customer feedback of promotions and loyalty programs.
- Prepare customer analytics and competitive insights for strategic committee discussions.
- Analyze customer segmentation and identify the most effective media strategies to engage them.
- Utilize popular communication techniques into Midwest Petroleum current endeavors.
- Social Media marketing
- Schedule plan and execute a social media content calendar to generate more social media traffic.
- Work with other Midwest Petroleum departments to help ensure all aspects of the company are integrated online as needed.
- Assist in maintaining company website.
- Maintain online presence so all Midwest Petroleum assets accurately display on all search engines.
- Google Maps Apple Maps Waze Etc.
- Capture and edit high quality photos to use on multiple media platforms
- Create and develop imagines for all Midwest Petroleum digital and print media.
- Handle any other work that can be assigned at the supervisors discretion.
Education/Experience Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or current enrollment in Digital Marketing or related field
23 years in Social Media Marketing or related fields

Physical Requirements
This position is performed in a fastpaced environment with frequent exposure to general office equipment beverage equipment coolers and any other sitespecific equipment/factors. You could also encounter exposure to hazardous materials and loud noises. This job requires the ability to walk stand bend and reach regularly. Must be able to frequently be required to lift push or pull weight of at least 5 to 75 pounds. Ability to work in different Midwest Petroleum Stations.
