Job Description

The Home Buying Consultant is responsible for planning and coordinating buying activities. The role will conduct inhome evaluations generate and present offers and regularly track and report numbers for the company scorecard. The role will also assist in generating new leads through calls and networking activities.

SBD Housing Solutions believes that each position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the overall success of the business and culture. Therefore each role has two prevailing themes that guide their daily purpose.

Two Things:

  1. Build relationships.
  2. Buy houses.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complete inperson sales calls.
  • Conduct inhome evaluations establishing purchase and rehab values through digital and inperson assessments.
  • Generate and present offers based on collaborative efforts with internal stakeholders.
  • Collect and enter lead/property information into Salesforce CRM.
  • Manage and followup with current/past leads and appointments.
  • Assist in generating new leads through outbound calling and networking activities.
  • Track and report daily/weekly/monthly numbers for the company scorecard.
  • Exhibit exemplary attendance and punctuality.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & RELATED EXPERIENCE

  • A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required.
  • Previous experience in a Home Buying Consultant role is preferred.
  • A valid drivers license and reliable transportation is required.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Knowledge of business economics and accounting principles and practices.
  • Understanding of Fair Housing laws and guidelines and local state and federal regulations.
  • Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Expert listening negotiation and presentation skills.
  • A highly motivated individual with a gogetter attitude and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite and other technology.
  • Effective problemsolving resourceful thinking and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work and perform in a fastpaced quickly evolving organization with little supervision.
  • Proven ability to drive business performance while maintaining a high standard of customer service and support.
