Adobe Firefly Applied Science & Machine Learning (ASML) group is looking for research scientists and engineers working on generative AI models for image and video synthesis to help us build the next generation of creative tools. We are especially looking for experience in video generation. We seek candidates with strong expertise in the field as evidenced by peerreviewed academic publications combined with handson industrial research experience.
As an Applied Scientist at Adobe you will be joining an outstanding team of applied researchers building the future of digital experiences. You will have the opportunity to develop novel ideas to advance the Creativity world through features in Adobes products and reach millions of people worldwide!
Job Responsibilities
Conduct innovative research and development in Generative AI
Develop and transfer novel technologies to Adobe products
Research and develop novel largescale foundation models in Generative AI
Collaborate with extraordinary researchers and engineers to bring research ideas to production
Ability to convert a research idea/paper to code in Python and typical machine learning development toolkits.
Provide technical mentorship and guidance.
What youll need to succeed
Masters or Ph.D. in Computer Science AI/ML or related fields
Excellent communication skills and a great teammate
Experience in stateoftheart Generative AI technologies such as GAN and/or diffusion models
Strong handson experience working on image/video generation and image/video editing
Experience with largescale generative model training
Preferred experience:
Working with largescale datasets
Working with product teams on technology transfers
Good publication record in Computer Science AI/ML or related fields

At Adobe for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC base commission) and shortterm incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Nonsales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and shortterm incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition certain roles may be eligible for longterm incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
