Job Description
The Role
- Develop a strong relationship with clients understanding their insurance needs and ensuring that these are fulfilled
- Identify primary budget holders and decision makers within clients establish and maintain active relationships with these people
- Provide technical industry and subject matter expertise where required
- Determine appropriate solutions structure price and placement strategies that meet the clients needs and deliver profitable business for a range of clients
- Grow existing portfolio by identifying new from existing opportunities
- Crosssell and upsell opportunities are fulfilled
- Undertake renewal market presentations/negotiations and make appropriate recommendations to client
- Work closely and maintain working relationships with the market as required
- Design programme and pricing structures to best meet the clients needs based on knowledge of the client the insurance market and industry sector proposition
Qualifications
The Requirements
- Good knowledge and understanding of the Marine Hull insurance market both UK and Internationally
- Preferably educated to degree level or relevant industry experience
- Strong communication negotiation and influencing skills
- Strong skills in problem solving planning and budgeting
