About the Opportunity
Join a compassionate and collaborative team providing essential psychiatric care to patients in a psychiatric inpatient setting. This unique role offers flexibility and the opportunity to deliver highquality care to individuals with serious mental illness who otherwise may not have access to psychiatric care.
What Youll Do:
Deliver inperson mental health care in a freestanding 70bed inpatient psychiatric hospital during business hours.
Average daily caseload of 12 patients. On average 3 new admissions per week.
Evaluate diagnose and treat patients 18 years or older with acute psychiatric disorders requiring inpatient hospitalization
What Youll Get:
Flexible schedule MF 8:00 am 5:00 pm. You can go home and complete documentation remotely once you have finished inperson patient care responsibilities. Providers must be available by phone and have access to EPIC until 5:00 pm to address patient care issues.
OPTIONAL Call includes weekend coverage phone call 5:00 pm 8:00 am) and weekday coverage for other providers on PTO. Additional compensation opportunity!

Inpatient psychiatric setting with manageable patient volume
The Ideal Candidate
Were looking for a compassionate and adaptable Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who thrives in a dynamic environment. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with diverse patient populations and contributing to a friendly patientfocused culture. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in serving patients with serious mental illness including schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Prior inpatient experience is preferred.
What You Need:
- A graduate degree from an advanced nursing education program accredited by a national nursing accreditation body recognized by the United States Department of Education.
- An active Washington state RN license without sanctions or restrictions
- State NP license
- Current CME hours to maintain licensure
- Adult/Gerontologic Psychiatry and/or LifespanCertification of Completion from the American Nurse Credentialing Center or the American Association of Nurse Practitioners
- Registration capability with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services
- An active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Requirements
- Certified psychiatric ARNP or DARNP
- Licensed in the state of WA by the time of employment
- Minimum 13 years clinical experience providing direct patient care
- DEA NPI & prescriptive authority
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
- Maintain a valid Washington State Motor Vehicle License

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package including competitive salary medical dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $136984.00 $185795.00 USD. However pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants including but not limited to: skill set level of experience and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicants years of experience align.Associated benefit information can be viewed here.
