A successful OB hospitalist program should be a collaboration among your hospitals staff and affiliated obstetricians family practice physicians and subspecialists. Our experienced boardeligible or boardcertified OB Hospitalists provide OB triage admissions inpatient care and delivery for hospitalized patients. This costeffective cohesive approach improves clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.

• • 24hour shifts providing OB Hospitalist care working side by side with an outstanding group of neonatologists and maternal fetal medicine physicians; the option for 12 hour shifts is available

  • Engage with Obsterix MFM physicians to provide quality care for antepartum & intrapartum highrisk patients.

  • Collaborate with a robust Certified Nurse Midwife practice of 7 providers.

  • Coordinate care with the Pediatrix Neonatology physicians for the best neonatal outcomes in the region.

  • Level III NICU & Level III Perinatal Center

  • Level II trauma center MedFlight and specialized Maternal OB transport team.

  • 10 birthing suites and an average of 3 deliveries per 24 hour shift and annual deliveries of approximately 2000

  • Participate in teaching activities and other clinical activities associated with the OB Hospitalist program
  • Located between Chicago and Detroit Near the University of Notre Dame and 3045 minutes from Lake Michigan

• Must be Board Certified
• Active IN license or IMLC compact
• Seeking per diem providers for ongoing coverage needs

Pediatrix does cover your travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice.

We also cover your malpractice insurance for this W2 per diem position.
