Position at Pilgrims

Feed Mill Laborer

At PilgrimsSafety Is A Condition which means the safety of our team members comes first always.

We have implemented safety measures to prevent the spread of COVID19. We are working to ensure social distancing within our facility. We have installed physical barriers throughout our facility such asplexiglass or plastic barriers between team member work stations. Each daytemperature screens are performed for each employee and visitor before entering the facility. Face coverings are provided and required over the mouth and nose at all times when inside the facility and enhancedcleaning and sanitation is regularly performed.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The person in this position is responsible for unloading incoming trucks and keeping back dock and other area clean as required.

1.Unloading all incoming trucks railcars and some bag ingredient trucks

2.Keep back dock area clean and other areas if needed

3.Grease and oil equipment

4.Daily inventory of ingredient bins

5.Dumping bag ingredients into micro bins as needed

6.Will be required to use a sledge hammer

7.Must be able to climb stairs walk on rough ground and concrete

8.Must not be afraid of heights

9.Must be able to squat bend kneel and reach

10.Will be exposed to varying temperatures and humidity

11.Must obey all USDA HACCP and PLANT rules and regulations including safety.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Physical demands: Standing walking lifting

Dependability a must

Able to bend and lift objects

Able to read English

Take responsibility for work area and equipment

Must be flexible & able to work other shifts if needed)

Ability to work in team environment

Must be able to pass drug alcohol and basic screening

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Must have some computer skills
