The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Management Specialist to join the Cruise Missile Systems Harpoon Production Program Team in Saint Charles Missouri.
The Cruise Missile Systems (CMS) Program Management Specialist will provide data analysis and support to the CMS Harpoon Legacy Team to enable successful delivery of the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Harpoon Block II Lot 91 Program. As the CMS Program Management Specialist you will be working alongside program managers functional leads and customers while having the opportunity to learn all aspects of the business.
Position Responsibilities:
FMS Program Manager Support:Provides support to the Boeing CMS FMS team including monitoring internal Boeing processes to prevent work stoppage; supporting contracts and external customers; reviewing related Government Property at Boeing in support of CMS; providing Program Management Review (PMR) preparation support; and acting as a backup for the Program Manager in of their duties when needed.
Contract : Working with internal departments on contract performance using Boeing Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) and LongRange Business Plan (LRBP) adherence
Schedule : Managing Deliverables by defining plans for risk mitigation issues and opportunities; and monitoring baseline plans to assess project performance productivity and lessons learned. Supporting all aspects of the DD250 process for scheduled delivery .
Continuous Process Improvement: Standardizing developing and documenting processes to ensure the most effective and efficient use of resources.
Additional Support: This job can encompass a variety of tasking including support for Correction Action Requests (CARs) received by the program lean/process improvements customer led initiatives or any other requisite support as identified by the Production Program Manager.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher
5 years experience working with a Program Manager / Program Management
5 years experience working with production programs
5 years experience in risk issues and opportunities management
Familiarity with Boeing production property management and logistics systems
Experience developing and maintaining Earned Value baselines and status to plan
Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word Excel PowerPoint and Project
Experience in a leadership role leading teams or projects to successful completion
Experience directing and executing projects in accordance with stakeholder objectives and schedules
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Project Management Professional (PMP/PMI) Certification
Experience in an operations or operations support role
Familiarity with customer proposals and contracting process
Work Location:
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Travel:
Position may require travel up to 10 of the time.
