A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MATERIAL HANDLER
To provide material handling support including operating a tipping machine to load products from gaylords onto rolling tables staging outlet gaylords in all areas and table rotation support as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MATERIAL HANDLER
- Basic written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while at the same time fostering strong team atmosphere and positive promotion of agency.
- Able to lift 40 lbs.
- Able to use a pallet jacket maneuvering loads up to 800 lbs.
- Able to carry out simple instructions and complete tasks.
- Must be able to count accurately.
