Job Description
**THIS POSITION IS OPEN TO SKILLBRIDGE PARTICIPANTS ONLY**
Position: SkillBridge AFSIM Developer / Analyst Training Program
Location: Dumfries VA
Overview
Seeking an aspiring Operations Research Analyst to learn AFSIM to perform analysis of US military planning activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university
- U. S. Citizenship with the ability to secure a Secret clearance
- The ability to apply critical thinking and formal analytical techniques to produce credible differencemaking analyses
Preferred:
- Bachelors or advanced degree in a STEM discipline
- Prior military experience at the theater or joint task force level conducting planning or performing operational assessments; experience with developing R scripts for preprocessing postprocessing data analytics and data visualization
Training Outcomes:
- Participants who successfully complete this program will be fully qualified AFSIM analysts with the ability to convert design concepts into executable code for model development and then to perform analysis with the resulting model to provide relevant and accurate information to guide the decisionmaking process of senior military personnel.
