DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role you will take on the responsibilities of a calibration technician focusing on the upkeep repair and calibration processes within the Laboratory Testing Section (LTS) to ensure adherence to the sections Quality Management System (QMS). Your duties will encompass executing preventative maintenance and making necessary adjustments as well as performing intricate electrical and mechanical repairs. Additionally you will conduct functional tests on various testing equipment and instruments to ensure they operate effectively and maintain peak performance. Your position will also require you to investigate appropriate methodologies create innovative techniques and formulate procedures for inhouse calibrations standardizations and evaluations of diverse laboratory testing instruments. Moreover you will evaluate both new and existing testing methodologies offering insights and recommendations for potential improvements to enhance overall efficiency and accuracy.
