Summary:
This Material Handler position is primarily responsible for verifying stock for accuracy as it comes back from production correcting and identifying losses; ensuring safe operations of powered industrial equipment and maintaining an organized layout and safe work environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Read understand and follow instructions listed on reports/pick sheets
- Check and add all materials listed on pick sheets
- Precisely weigh materials from production areas to be put back into stock
- Follow QC sampling procedures
- Report QC deviations
- Execute all required transactions on terminal software and handheld scanners
- Pull & return material in approved locations in warehouses
- Follow ISO9001 GMP and HACCP procedures
- Responsible for inventory record accuracy of 95 or greater
- Other duties as necessary
Job Requirements:
- High School equivalent or degree in related field preferred
- 3 years experience in Shipping Receiving and Logistics & Transportation
- Barcode experience
- Forklift (standup) experience
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer skills (Word and Excel)
- Selfmotivated & commitment to continuous improvement
Physical Demands:
- Able to stand walk lift reach and bend throughout 8 hour shift.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Schedule:
- 2nd shift 2pm1030pm
Every other weekend OT 12 on 2off currently)
