Title: Data Quality Assurance AnalystLocation: Phoenix AZ (up to 5 days a week inoffice as necessary)
Job Type: LongTerm Contract
The Data Quality Assurance Analyst will ensure the accuracy integrity and consistency of data by validating reports and datasets requested by business users. You will work closely with product owners developers and project managers to define document and prioritize testing needs across multiple data sources and reporting solutions.
Your role:
- Collaborate with business analysts to gather and interpret requirements related to data testing and validation needs.
- Analyze data requirements and communicate with stakeholders to clarify business and technical expectations.
- Develop and execute detailed test plans and cases for both manual and automated testing scenarios.
- Review and validate reports to ensure consistency accuracy and integrity of the data presented.
- Use SQL to create test datasets and verify report outputs by comparing data values totals and relationships.
- Identify and escalate data issues using established procedures and contribute to resolution efforts.
- Support end users during User Acceptance Testing providing responses to issues or questions.
- Design develop and maintain automated test scripts leveraging Microsoftbased tools and technologies.
What youve got:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience in QA/data analysis ETL testing or data quality testing.
- Advanced SQL proficiency (TSQL) with the ability to query complex data structures.
- Handson experience with Microsoft Test Manager or Azure DevOps Test Plans.
- Familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium Ready API and JMeter.
- Strong test planning and documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments preferred.
- Background in the education sector is a plus.
